Stampin Up Simply Scrappin Tailor-Made Scrapbooking Kit

By Daniel Bernzweig

Look what I can do…look what I can do! Better known as, I made my first ever Scrapbook page using a Stampin Up’ Simply Scrappin’ Scrapbooking Kit. While scrapbooking kits are supposed to take most of the guess work out of creating a page, I was still a bit leary. Boy was I wrong!

My First Scrapbook Page Using a Stampin' Up! Scrapbook Kit

Grabbing some pictures of a trip to Australia with my brother back in 2001 and the “Tailor-Made” Stampin Up’ Simply Scrappin’ Kit, I was on my way. What made the kit so great was the fact that everything I needed to complete the page pictured above, was included, except one item - Dotto. “Dotto” is adhesive dots that come in a hand dispenser for applying your photographs to your scrapbook page. Dotto also allows repositioning of items if you want to change something later.

If you are looking to try your hand at scrapbooking or new at it like me, the Stampin Up’ Simply Scrappin’ Scrapbooking Kits are the way to go. I found it to be fun and easy, yet I was still able to use my own creativity to put a personal touch on the scrapbook page.

The Tailor-Made Scrapbooking Kit (Stampin Up catalog item #114326) was $19.95 and Dotto adhesive with dispenser (catalog item #103305) was $12.95. The scrapbook kit comes with enough supplies and embellishments to make many scrapbook pages not just one. I did get hungry while making the page and believe the only other item Stampin Up may want to include with the kits is a snack or dare I dream big, a boxed lunch. Sorry but we men do get hungry.
